Awards and things like needles in a haystacks!

There is nothing nicer as a blogger than being appreciated by your peers for what you do or who you are.
Can I be honest? I have so many blog awards I've lost count but I'm a spot so I'll play along.

First I received The Liebster Award from coffee lady over at her blog called
my morning cup of coffeeShe's a sweetheart with a wonderful sense of humor. She is real as they get and she write about every day life with an honesty I admire. I suggest you click on this link and go over coffee in hand and visit her asap!

Then my faith-filled friend Maria over at delight directed living honored me with the same award! When you read her blog I know you will agree with me that. Maria is a person of faith who writes from her heart. She will lift your spirits   when you read her words of faith and hope. Visit!

My friend miss bates over at miss-bates.blogspot gave me not only a Liebster Award but a Very Inspiring Blogger Award. OMG! What a sweet gal! I met her during A-Z and I can tell you truthfully she's a wonderful writer. She's writing daily in May so believe me she's a dedicated writer as well, you'll enjoy her blog, believe me!

This week my new friend Jessica   who writes over at the blog, A word or two, about a word gave me another Liebster Award. I'm giggling and hoping I reach 200 followers since I'm running out of room for all these awards :) This one is sorta cute and blueish which is my first one of this kind!  Jessica is a mom a blogger and a newly published author of a book called  "The Key to Life". How cool is that? Don't forget to visit!

The Liebster award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers.  What is a Liebster?  The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

The Very Inspiring Blogger Award doesn't require any questions or answers....

Here are the rules for receiving this award: Note! I'm not completely following the rules here!
1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
2. Answer the questions that the tagger set for you plus create 11 questions for the people you've tagged to answer.
3. Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
4. Go to their page and tell them.
5. No tag backs!

It seems to me a tad silly to keep giving these awards to the same people over and over again. So I was hoping there were a few of you who had never gotten blog awards and would let me know so I could pass these on to you.I looked through my reader, well I had trouble finding one person. I'm thinking needle in haystack here. Speak up people.

Are you out there?
If you're my needle leave a comment cause I have something for your!!. If you're not why not answer one of my questions (blue) and leave an answer in a comment.

    1. I love your answers Dee! You're a real trooper. I don't do baths and I like my wine red and dry not white and sweet.. My b/r is goldish and I wanted to be a cop when I was growing up. I'm not sure where I'd live, probably Canada or Ireland.

  4. I always love when you get awards so I can selfishly read new random Jen facts. #3,7,9,10,11 we have in common. I am so very glad to hear about your mom! I know it has been touch and go for so long but this makes me very happy.

I prefer wine (white, light and crispy!)

  7. Hi Jen - lots of awards - that's lovely .. I'm not good with them .. so I'll be the needle in the haystack sort! You've given us loads of ideas for answering your questions and being able to find out more about those ... I love both cats and dogs, but have neither right now .. butter and bath right now - probably not together!!

    Cheers Hilary

    1. Jim,
I love dogs Jim and I'm Sophie's biggest fan but we like to travel so we just don't think our life style isn't fair for the dog, ya know!

      Hilary,
Butter in the bath would be quite messy i think!

      Cristy,
I enjoyed your tree story as well! What's with that anyway? Does every family have one? In any case I'm glad Paula sent me in your direction :)

  9. #2. When I was really little I wanted to be a dachsund. No kidding. I am avoiding the obvious jokes here.
#5. Ironically, I love shoes and always notice everyone elses but I only own 3 maybe 4 pair if you include winter boots.

Thanks for the compliment on my site. I am trying to improve my descriptive writing so I really appreciate the encouragement. :)

    1. I love wiener dogs! I'm a bit of a shoe hound myself although I never wear heals since I'm so tall.

You're welcome, I enjoy your blog!

  10. This is fun! I too only paint my nails in the summer, never drink milk, particular about my laundry, and believe whole heartily in marriage. Loved your answers!

  11. You prefer NO ac! What's the word I'm looking for as my ac is going? Hmmm that's PREPOSTEROUS! I had to make it a big one to emphasize my point. LOL. I'll answer a random question here and say I prefer showers. I can't make myself relax long to sit in a bathtub. If I do, I get up and turn the shower on to rinse that bath off.

    1. Sonya,
See! Now we really have to meet! We can drink wine, compare toe nails and comment on how well laundered our clothes are :)

      Kenya,
On heck when it's above 85 and humid I'm using it but other wise I'd rather not. I love to sleep with the windows open, nothing better.

    1. Thanks Maria,
And a way to overdue thank you for the award!

      Mary,
I've often wondered why more people don't take the plunge. It really is rather an enlightening experience to get in touch with what's inside; the good, bad and ugly.

I can say I'm better for it!
