what's hidden in your closet?

I'm not sure what my confession should be this week! I'm hooking up with Kristen from a little something for me for her Friday's confession booth. Should it be my denial of this terrible mess or that I might have a slight hoarding problem in my closet in the guest room.

Of course if your read the comment posted below then you would say both... denial and hoarding...sorry to my friend Mark over at our simple lives !!  Maybe we'll just say I'm a neat hoarder since most everything in bins!! Well I did say I like stuff!!
Mark said...

Being a Hoarder by nature, I have tons of treasured gifts from my childhood. I'm trying to get away from hoarding, just so you know.
Anyway, I love your story and I hope that my Claire holds on to her First Holy Communion necklace as long as you have.

I hope so too Mark.
I think it's important that the kids have those special symbols of either faith- family or both given to them by their loved ones.

Hoarder huh? My husband has that tendency too! Me I like stuff but I'm probably way to neat to be a hoarder!

All the stuff piled all over the balcony is supposed to fit back in this closet; I don't think so......

This bin is also supposed to fit in the closet too!

This is where we've decided to put some of the extra bins, mostly the family photos and the kids treasures.

All and all we did plenty of purging but still there isn't enough room for all the stuff we took out to fit back in and look like a nice neat closet!

My bedroom closet is actually in great shape see....

Are your closets a place were you put all you stuff and as long as you don't see it it's ok? Apparently that's my motto! What's yours?

solving crimes from my couch

I'm linking up with my friend Kristen from a little something for me for her
Friday's Confession Booth

My confession is nothing heavy this week, just a little something about my TV watching habits.

Well, if you want to know where I am when there is a crime show on the tube you can bet I’ll be in front of our flat screen watching. I am addicted; I think that makes me a crime show couch potato maybe!

My husband dislikes them because he was a cop and he finds them ridiculous, but I love them. Bones, Criminal Minds, NCIS, The Mentalist,The Closer, Covert Affairs, White Collar and others. I even love Matock reruns!

Who cares if they're realistic they keep me entertained and I love watching and trying to break down the plots; to figure out "who done it". I'm actually pretty good at solving the crimes from my very own sofa. That skill gleaned from all the mystery reading I did in my younger days!

Now your turn; what is it that keeps you glued to the TV?

is all about pampering me

Anyone who reads this blog with any regularity know I'm a Catholic so when I read over at Kristen's blog
a little something for me she was doing Friday's Confession Booth I just couldn't resist! If you'd like you can link up too, just click on the name of her blog above and it will take you over to her blog go ahead, go over and read the other submissions.

I figure I leave the real heavy confessing for the church but I do like everyone else have some funny things about me that make me unique or unusual as a person that I could probably confess.

Every women loves to be pampered right? All that hard work taking care of the kids and the house, maybe even the pets too. Oh did I forget hubby? So maybe you get a gift certificate or a free couple of hours to go out with the girls for a spa day.

Oh how glorious it is to have a facial, how those little rough patches on the forehead just melt away as the cosmetologist glop's potions and masks that are  horribly expensive and smell good enough to eat all over your face and neck.

Or maybe someone REALLY loves you and you got a full body massage as a gift or hey what the heck give it to yourself. One hour melting away in bliss as warm hands work magic on your aches and pains; can anyone say mud bath?

Even a manicure is a treat as long as it comes with one of those nifty little hand massages with warm lotion!

My confession- I don't care for pedicures AT ALL! I've had a few and If I never have another it will be OK with me. I think it's pretty unclean practice and I won't go to a public salon and have one done. Even one that allows you to bring you're own implements. To have some strange person touch my feet creeps me out to no end. That is the part that bothers me the most, the strange person rubbing my feet, big creepy yuck.

Call me crazy or are there others out there who feel the same way?
