Write on Edge- an epitaph for my children

I'm linking up this week for Write on Edge's first writing prompt for 2012. For this week, write a fiction or creative non-fiction piece in which an epitaph features prominently. This can be a short as the epitaph itself, or the epitaph can be part of a longer story.

For my children......

Gretchen Emily 1976-2006
Sweet and innocent
Eric Paul 1984-2006
Bright and curious
Loving and well loved
They were raised together
Sister and brother
They died together
Praise God
They were raised together

  2. It's interesting to think about what others will remember us by. Hmm... I wonder what people will say about me on my epitaph?

  4. This is a tough one to read. The loss of children can be the hardest to bear. Still, your words show how much they were loved.

  11. Shit...I want to take back that comment but it won't let me.

I wanted to add that I am so sorry so so sorry that you had to experience that loss. I didn't mean that your post was disturbing...I just thought that it was a very odd topic that they chose to talk about...

I think I just dug myself a hole here.
    I'm so sorry.
