We had our first snow of the season Sunday evening! I was so excited that I went running out in the dark with my camera. I guess twenty five plus years in the south will not erase the northerner in me!
My cats followed close behind they were slipping and sliding through the snow like maniacs, it was so funny! They were running around so fast I didn't have a prayer of getting a picture of them, sorry!
So with the camera that I received for Christmas in hand I began my mission to get some photographs of all that white goodness. I found out however, it's not at all easy to take pictures in the dark and snow with a flash. The flash reflects off the flakes, I'll spare you all my pictorial failures.
I probably need to get off my rear end and read about how to take the camera off AUTO so I can change the settings. But hey! I'm having a blast as it is so I'm not going to rush things.

You have more snow than Chicago! Beautiful and fun for you. I love when the snow outlines each branch of the trees with the light running through them. Looks like your trees were budding.
ReplyDeleteIf you completely figure out the camera, you're going to be dangerous!
Can you imagine the day before it was in the sixties? Weird huh?
DeleteThat snow looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful!!!! We have so little snow this year :-(
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - good pictures too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ariana I had a lot of fun taking them too!
DeleteI love those photos of the snow. And more so because it fell on your house and not mine. So far, we only received a dusting. I've never been happier!
ReplyDeletem.
I am practically stomping my feet with jealousy over here! All we got was rain. :(
