TODAY’S TOPIC

What was the last movie you saw in the theatre?

I have a confession to make.... I'm a bit of a movie junkie and we have a large collection in our home. Give me a good action movie, spy or thriller and I'm a happy woman. The only thing is I really don't go to the movie theatre all that much. Reason? When I do go I'm usually miserable since I have RLS. (restless leg syndrome) Yes people I'm that annoying person in front of you who can't sit still.

Anyhoo, the last movie I went to see was Skyfall, which was the latest of the James Bond movies.

I know everyone has their own personal opinion on who their favorite 007 is. I gotta tell ya. Daniel Craig has won me over and is my favorite. Seriously people the guy is gorgeous and he's got and body that doesn't quit! Did I mention the baby blues?

Oh! And btw the movie was awesome!

So what was your last movie?  And while you're at it you might as well tell me who your favorite 007 is too!

  1. I don't know much about James Bond movies of late but I did watch a few when Sean Connery played the role. I am right there with you on not going to the theater though. Just not my cup of tea either.

  2. I have never missed a Bond movie. I do wish that Sean Connery could still somehow play the part of a 30-something. He was the best.

  4. Let's see, the last three movies I saw at the theater were, Ghost, ET and Coal Miner's Daughter. That tells you how often I go to the movies! I prefer to watch in my own home.

    1. Paula,
      Nothing more comfy than home!

      Flora,
Sean Connery is something of an icon and would definitely be my second favorite losing by a hair.

      Angela,
There you are! I can live without it too! Maybe a few that just need a big screen but otherwise I'm with you.

Ms A, Hollywood's not making any money off of you huh?

  6. Good choice on both the Movie and the Bod...I mean the Bond. All of the 007's have had their own special qualities much to be admired by all the Miss Money Pennies of the world. Sean Connery...now if he had a cowboy hat he'd be PERFECT...and he ain't bad with no hat!

  8. Shoot! I don't think I have ever seen a James Bond movie - EVER. Didn't have the scratch to go to the movies when I was younger and don't particularly like the spy/action genre anyway.....
I can't remember the last movie I saw. Must not have impressed me much. Movies are EXPENSIVE around here! I will catch them on Netflix from time to time though.

  9. I have never seen a Bond film but agree with the Daniel Craig opinion.
I love movies- drama, action, suspense, thriller. Not that into comedy though.

  10. Last movie in a theater . . . probably "Brave". My DH loves a good Bond movie, so we've seen quite a few, but I haven't seen the new ones yet. We rarely go to a theater anymore either.
