So here goes.....
I am ever so grateful that my friend Martha suggested that I do A-Z. I've really never been much of a joiner truth been told.
And once month of blogging every day.... who would have thought that I could do it? Until the day I signed up to do the A-Z Challenge I didn't think it was possible. Not this procrastinator!
Now I can proudly consider myself a former procrastinator; sort of .....
Thinking up fun posts to publish for each letter of the alphabet was sometimes a snap sometimes not quite as easy! But it pushed me and sharpened my abilities made me a better blogger or at least I hope it did. I'd like to think you enjoyed my blog posts as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Since this is my blog and I can shamelessly plug what I've done and do here I thought I'd just list the top three posts that received the most attention by you the readers during the challenge. Just in case you missed anything and want to take a peek, click on the links below!

- what kind of bee's make milk?-the letter B
- when nature calls- the letter N
Then there are those post that I had fun writing or I got a lot of feedback about; so I thought I'd share them as well.
POSTS I THINK YOU MIGHT ENJOY READING
I made some new friends; ones that I'm so excited to keep in touch with after this challenge. And their blogs? Wow are they some great blogs to read. I read and read information, stories, fiction and non, poetry, viewed unbelievable photography, learned history I laughed, I cried, and I learned many things over the course of a month. I traveled all over the planet from the comfort of my couch. Really how cool is that? I've amassed a small list of novels and novella's from some new and exciting authors that I've met through their blogs. Now I know why this challenge's numbers grow and grow every year.
But truthfully there are many blogs that I just didn't have the time to visit, and it's a shame but there just weren't enough hours in the day. It really was nice to have the list available to visit other blogs at me leisure after the challenge was finished to catch a few extras. I might also say at this point how impressed this newbie was at how organized everything was. I didn't have a single problem navigating my around and getting acquainted with how things were done all the instructions were clear and concise, it was very well done.
- will that be one lump or twelve?-the letter T
- oh my aching head-the letter H
- embracing my inner ernest today- the letter E

I am so very appreciative with how my regular readers jumped on the band wagon and supported all those posts throughout the month! They were really fabulous visiting, reading and commenting with the utmost enthusiasm all the way to the end. I am so hook on this challenge and it's benefits that I've already started asking people who weren't involved to consider joining me for next year.
Just planting the seeds....anyhoo.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention just one more time my gratitude to all the other A-Z-ers who visited whether it be once or faithfully visited and commented throughout the month, I am very grateful for your visits and our new and budding friendships.
I can't keep myself from asking however, if your reading this: it was good for me; how was it for you?
Yes, I still need to write my reflection post!

Jen, you make great points! Most of all, aren't you pride of yourself? I am glad to have met you and some other great bloggers who I can now call friends.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
Loved reading your reflection post. Pleased you enjoyed it, I was in on the first and learned to plan ahead so I could read as many others as possible.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Jen, I can't tell you how glad I am that you decided to do the challenge, and even happier that you really enjoyed it! The fun part of doing a challenge like this and being a procrastinator is that we can commit to the challenge and then procrastinate on all that boring stuff in our lives instead :)
ReplyDeleteForgot to add - yes, it was good for me too ::laying back breathlessly and lighting cigarette:: LOL!!
DeleteJen. It was good for me too. "I traveled all over the planet from the comfort of my couch." I never thought about that until you said it. I love that. It was a blast. Congrats for completing it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sydney- Of course I prefer to do the real thing lol but this really was a blast!
DeleteAm glad you made new friends during A-Z!

I'll shoot ya'll an e-mail...thanks!
Jen, I'm so happy we met through A to Z, and reading your blog was very good for me! Julie
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it, but you already know that. :) And I agree wholeheartedly about traveling the planet from the comfort of a chair. I love that about Blogger!!!
ReplyDeleteI should probably do something about the places I've been!
DeleteJen, it was good for me and even thou I did not commented on all your posts - I did read them all as a matter of fact I started my days with your posts!
ReplyDeleteThat makes me feel so good to know Ariana! What a nice thing to say.
DeleteHi Jen
ReplyDeleteI am just getting around to actually reading (and enjoying) the blogs of people who visited me during the A-Z challenge.
I have to admit the A-Z challenge was exactly that---a real challenge for me. I had literally just started my very first blog only days before the challenge began. With working full time, I was a bit overwhelmed for much of the challenge. However, I did enjoy it and I loved getting comments from people like you---I think that was the most rewarding part for me.
Next year, I will be better prepared and have a lot of my preliminary work done beforehand...I think that's the key!
I have taken the time now to read back over many of your posts--love your blog and I'll be back!!
Cheers
I enjoyed your part of the world so much Kathleen. What a beautiful place. I almost felt like a stalker on your blog! Glad you did the challenge and I do hope you do it again next year.
DeleteI forgot about doing this! I'll have to write another post for today. Ha! Anyway, I enjoyed it mostly because of making new bloggy friends and getting to know old bloggy friends even better! It was fun! And challenging!
ReplyDeleteI had fun, glad you did too. :)
ReplyDeleteI missed so many awesome blogs, I'm still trying to catch up. Glad I found yours. I'm going to go have a look around. Nice to meet you. Hope you have a great day :)
I feel the same way Kela, like I've missed something or someone! Glad we've gotten to meet even if it was at the end of the challenge.
DeleteYou're so cute with how much you loved it! I remember I used to blog 7 days a week and I can't even imagine that now! I have to take a few days off a week. I'm pooped already and I'm just off of a short break. lol
ReplyDeleteWe did it!! Challenge complete! I agree, so little time, and so many blogs. I wish I could blog hop all day long. I would if it weren't for those pesky bills to pay. LOL! ~ Angela, Whole Foods Living, http://www.wholefoodsliving.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI do too Angela but i swear I don't think my neck could stand the strain.
DeleteLove you. Just had to say that. seriously.
ReplyDeleteMy reflections post is posted w/ my thoughts. A-Z was a good exercise in many things, but mostly connecting w/ fellow writers. You are one I'm glad to have found. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely more of a challenge than I had expected. More rewarding too. Meeting wonderful people was the best bit. Need to catch up on a few of yours. Well done. We did it!
ReplyDeleteI agree Lynne all the time it takes, not to mention those pesky letters like x and z. But gaining a few new friends and finding a couple a great blogs makes it worth it for sure!
DeleteI like the links you recommended for the highlights of your A to Z challenge. I thought the Rolling Stones' concert poster was very cool. Did you ever get to find out its authenticity?
ReplyDeleteI nominate this post for the one with the catchest title.
ReplyDeleteI confess. I've been a bad blogger for the last month. But when I have checked in, I always come here and it's always been good for me!
Hi Jen, I'm glad I found you during this challenge. It is a sense of achievement that we have saw it through to the end and now we all have lovely newly discovered blogs to visit. I'm going to read up on the letters I missed in your blog ,now I have time.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great post! Congratulations. And you're right: it was easy to navigate. So easy I didn't even notice. Thanks for pointing that out.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! And yes, it was good for me :) I learned a lot also...things I never thought I wanted to know...lol. So glad I met you here in bloggy land. Looking forward to your future posts.
ReplyDeleteYep, sometimes it was simple coming up with ideas. I had lots of ideas for some letters, but no idea for others. But we made it. Congrats to us!
ReplyDeleteThey really did a great job organizing it didn't they? I was so impressed. Glad you had a great time with it! Congrats on finishing up :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it was good for me ;-) I enjoyed my co-hosting duties, and I enjoyed the many blogs I visited. You remarked that you hadn't had the time to get to everyone on the list..and I suspect no one did. That's why Shannon (also a co-host) are going on the A-Z Road Trip. We're going to be traveling all of the world in our snazzy, blue convertible, stopping at every blog on the list. This road trip is open to all, and we'll be announcing it in more detail on 5/14 at the A-Z blog. Be sure to stop by and join the link-up.
ReplyDeleteI got your email(s) about guest posting, and I'll get back to you via email about that later today,
